7 – Panel

The Panel is a Kanban board for tracking Assets and their respective Demands. The Panel allows you to visualize the processes your company uses to serve its customers. Because it’s virtual, the Panel offers the advantages of allowing viewing from anywhere and at any time, supporting distributed collaboration, preserving all service data, and providing everyone with context on how the company is doing as a whole.

It displays Assets, such as customers, processes, or projects, in the leftmost column, and their created demands in the columns corresponding to the appropriate phases of the displayed process. These phases can be defined in the Panel settings.

If the item row is collapsed, horizontal bars show the number of demands in each stage relative to the total number of demands created for the Asset. Clicking the arrow icon in the right corner of the item, or right-clicking on the item, displays a context menu where you can open the item, collapse or expand the row, or remove the item. At the bottom of the item card, there are two more icons: one to create a new demand from scratch and another to create a new demand from an existing one in another asset.

Demands can be created for each item, indicating what needs to be done for customer service. Demands can be created from the button in the bottom bar of the asset, or directly from the phase corresponding to the asset where you want to place it.

Note: Assets defined as Single Demand automatically generate a demand upon creation, placed in the first phase of the Panel .

Demands are moved in the Panel using drag-and-drop, or by using the context menu, available via the arrow or by right-clicking on the card. When a team member moves a demand to a column, the system automatically updates the date the demand was moved to the phase and adds the acronym of the user who moved it.

When a demand is placed in a new column, BeePlus records the date and starts counting the time for the participant responsible for the demand. A participant can only be working on one Demand at a time. Therefore, when a Demand is triggered for a participant, any other Demands under his/her responsibility are automatically paused. To work on another Demand, simply press the clock icon in the status bar (bottom) of the desired Demand card.

Demands can be assigned to another participant using the context menu.
