5.1 – Summary

Presents an overview of the ongoing release, i.e., the next release to be delivered, and also allows for some management actions.

5.1.1 – Details
Shows basic release data, as it name, goal, period, status and points being worked, allowing for the edition of most of these data.
The status of the release may be:
Not Started
Started
Delayed
Finished
Delivered
It also displays a release progress bar, summarizing release work:
Green bar represents the amount of points from stories planned to be worked on the release.
Orange bar represents the amount of points from stories included in the release, but not planned for it.
Black bar and percentage represents amount of points already completed and approved.
5.1.2 – Burnup and Burndown Charts
The graphs show the work progress during the release. Burnup works the same way as the project Burnup Chart. Burndown the same way as Sprint Burndown Chart.

5.1.3 – Release Backlog

The Release Backlog lists the Stories planned for the release, yet to be worked. A green sign at their rightmost column indicates they are directly related to the release goal, as are all planned Stories. When planning a Sprint during a release period, a PO can choose any Story to include, regardless if it is part of the release or not.
The Add Story button allows for the inclusion of existing Stories in the release.
The History list shows all Stories worked on the release, with their finishing date and a green sign or orange sign indicating whether they are directly related to release goal or not, i.e., if they were planned in the release or just included in a Sprint during the release.
